D-teach started from an initiative of educationalists at Ghent University. Nowadays, d-teach has grown into an international 100% online school in Belgium. With a team of online pedagogues, teachers and speech therapists, d-teach has been teaching children, young people and adults online for more than ten years, at home and especially abroad.

From that practical experience and the collaboration with the academic world, d-teach has also become a center of expertise in online training. D-teach helps organizations with the transition from offline to blended and online learning. D-teach does this  by providing online training courses and webinars, developing online courses and providing advice on distance learning and online training. The focus is always on online didactics and online interactive and motivational training.


D-teach works in very different contexts and with very different target groups (entry level, digital skills, learning pace and culture, etc.). One constant factor: people. We always start with specific questions and expectations of your company or organisation and of your people. With your input in mind, we put together the perfect puzzle, with a variety of methods and tools, and especially with the variety of profiles from our d-teach team, from teachers to instructional designers to educators.


Technology is our tool. Making people learn for life is our goal. We are expert in online didactics. We look for methods, frameworks and tools that turn online learning environments into successful learning environments. Our keyword is interaction: allowing people to interact and learn from each other, providing immediately extra motivation. Our online learning environments do not leave anyone indifferent, because they always start from the learner’s perspective.


We do not only teach others to be eager to learn, we are also eager to learn ourselves. We keep a finger on the pulse of the latest learning methods and learning technologies. We have, for example, been participating in international research projects for years and we have our own doctoral researcher. The d-teach team is also multidisciplinary, so we have and retain far-reaching expertise in both didactics and technology.
