[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The global COVID-19 crisis is having an unprecedented impact on our society, and especially on children. UNESCO has estimated that as a result, 850 million children, youth and students are physically unable to attend school, university or college.

Distance learning helps to overcome this problem. Because it allows us to reach children in their home environment. At d-teach, we see it as our social duty to ensure that children do not fall behind in their learning, fully in line with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4, the right to quality education for all. We cannot let any child down in this crisis.

In concrete terms, we help teachers free of charge to retrain as online teachers via webinars and Distance Teaching Tips.

Together we keep going for accessible education. Because we don’t want to let any child down.

“As an astronaut, I have experienced how distance is no obstacle to conveying wonder and creativity to children. This is why D-Teach’s initiative to train online teachers is so important, and more than ever in times of crisis.”
