3 basic principles for getting started online

Getting started with online learningis harder than it looks. After all, you can’t just copy-paste an offline training and expect it to be a quality online training. Below you can find 3 basic rules:

  1. The challenge for trainers is to keep online learning as simple as possible: in terms of technology and lesson planning.
  2. There are many online tools available. Trainers are curious and have a natural urge to experiment. Great, keep it up! But remember: make it as simple as possible for your learners. One or two tools will do the job.
  3. Look for routines. Choose fixed times for synchronised online training and set a short deadline for independent work.
