During this conference, she did a(n) (a)synchronous presentation of her paper with the results of the research on “Everyone online: challenges and training needs”.
Making the transition from offline to online education is obviously a major professional challenge. As part of this, Maaike researched the concerns and needs of teachers in efficiently and effectively transitioning from offline to online education.
In addition, Maaike also attended some sessions herself. Discover below Maaike’s favorite presentations from the conference:
- Everyone can be a(n) (educational) designer! In a hands-on and practical workshop Wendy Gorton gave concrete tips & tricks for design thinking, for daily challenges in the online classroom.
- The neurosciences are also doing research within education. Tracey Tokuhama-Espinosa indicated during the keynote that connectedness (emotion & social connection) is an important condition for learning.
