Unforgettable and Inspiring: d-teach’s mission to Senegal

Recently, d-teach online school and d-teach online training embarked on a remarkable journey to Senegal as part of the Belgian Economic Mission. This proved to be an incredible experience, filled with inspiring encounters and fruitful collaborations. Our longstanding commitment to education and technology was acknowledged.

Breakfast with HRH Princess Astrid of Belgium
One of the highlights of the mission was our selection to participate in the success stories breakfast, attended by HRH Princess Astrid of Belgium and several officials. It was a testament to our dedication and success in the field of education.

Pioneering EdTech/LearnTech Seminars during the economic missions
We also organized a groundbreaking seminar during the Belgian Economic Mission on the occasion of eLearning Africa, the largest e-learning conference on the African continent. The event brought together prominent figures from industry, academia, civil society and government, including special guest Pascal Smet, and speakers from renowned organizations such as Enabel, Televic Education, Close the Gap, ITCILO, edtechstation, and Agoria.

Invitation to the CBL ACP Seminar
D-teach was invited to the CBL ACP seminar, which brought together Belgian and Senegalese entrepreneurs and served as a gateway for investments in Senegal. It provided an opportunity to foster partnerships and explore avenues for future growth.

 Collaboration with Magellan-Transition
During the mission, d-teach signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Magellan-Transition. This collaboration holds lots of promise and sets the stage for a fruitful partnership. Florence Roisin-Van Loon, PCC, CTA, expressed her enthusiasm for the collaboration, highlighting the potential for positive change and progress in the education sector.

 Acknowledgments
None of these accomplishments would have been possible without the support and collaboration of numerous individuals and organizations. d-teach extends heartfelt thanks to HRH Princess Astrid, representative of His Majesty the King, Belgian Ministers, and the official delegation. Appreciation is also extended to the Belgian Foreign Trade Agency (BFTA), the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT), hub.brussels | Europe, and Ghent University, among others.
